The Friends and Family Test is a way of gathering your feedback about this experience and helping to drive improvement in our services. This is one of the opportunities you have to give your feedback by answering some simple questions about your experience. The results will provide a way for you to easily compare NHS services so that you know where you and your family can get the best possible care. The information will also give us invaluable information on what you think of our services, which can be used to help us make improvements if required.

All responses are totally anonymous, your personal details will not be recorded and your views will not adversely affect the care you receive.

Your Experience Matters....

We are committed to providing a range of opportunities for patients, service users and carers to tell us about their experience of using our services.

We know that when it is gathered and used appropriately, it can provide us with greater understanding of the quality of care delivered.

Feedback received provides evidence that can be used to influence the designing of patient centred care.

Patient Experience Questionnaires are offered during discharge from inpatient services and during episodes of care delivered in the community. You can also tell us ‘what we did well’ or ‘could do better’ or tell us about anything else about the service’ by
clicking here.

Feedback received is reported to our operational modern matrons each month, they work with team and ward managers, and together they identify and take any actions required.

Other opportunities for sharing Your Experience include: Service User and Carer Forums, Patient Opinion website, Big Brother Booth, Annual National Patient Survey, PALS, Compliments, Complaints, service specific surveys and comments received by staff.
