Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) 2016/17

Since April 2015, all NHS organisations have been required to monitor their Black and Minority Ethnic workforce to ensure race equality issues are identified and addressed. To evidence this, all NHS organisations are required to release data on the number of Black and Minority Ethnic staff employed as compared to white staff, across the organisation.

The WRES reporting template and Trust action plan 2016/2017 evidences the work completed and actions to further enhance equality and experience.
