A celebration of Art at Hollins Park, This Sunday 16 September 2012

Reflections’ Art in Health charity launched a fundraising initiative this summer called 'Park Art' - a series of co-ordinated events across NHS mental health Trusts celebrating the visual and performing arts, and the artistic talents of people with experience of mental ill-health.

In support of this we will be hosting an event in the grounds of Hollins Park Hospital at Winwick from 12 noon to 4pm.

The event will include:

  • Performances of music and poetry
  • Public access to permanent artwork displayed in our hospital
  • An art exhibition and sale of work
  • A sponsored walk or ‘push’ around the recently developed wheelchair accessible 1km Health and Well-being Trail which circles our grounds.

Entries to a staff and service user photographic competition on the theme ‘inspiration’ will be displayed in our Education Centre, and the winners announced on the day.
