Resources for employers

What untapped talent could you potentially miss out on by discounting an applicant with mental ill-health?

How much more valued would a current employee feel if they were offered the right support while suffering from anxiety, depression or stress?

70% of people with mental health problems say that they have been put off applying for jobs for fear of unfair treatment. They worry that the stigma and misconceptions surrounding their conditions will be a barrier to employment.

Having a positive attitude towards employing people with mental health issues and creating better working conditions for existing employees who develop them is best.

As such, we have developed an employers' pack which gives helpful guidance and advice on recruiting and supporting people with mental ill-health in the workplace.
